Answers to frequently asked questions.

01.
What's the difference between Aging Ally and a hospital navigator?
Hospital navigators are very important during a hospital stay, but are part of the hospital
system and may change from shift to shift or day to day. Aging Ally, on the other hand, provides
consistent, one-on-one support beyond the hospital walls. We walk alongside you through all
the transitions - before, during, and after hospital care - so you always have a familiar, trusted
advocate by your side.
03.
Do you attend doctor visits with clients?
Our primary role is to support you before and after your appointments. We help you prepare
before your appointment developing the questions to ask your provider. Afterward, we review results and/or reports with you to ensure you understand the information. While we typically do not attend doctor visits, we
may occasionally do so if it is feasible (local and requested by the client).
05.
Are your services covered by insurance?
As Aging Ally is not a medical entity, services are private pay and not billed to insurance. Financial assistance may be available for those who qualify.
02.
How is pricing/billing handled?
We believe in full transparency. Each service package is explained clearly before you sign up, explaining all costs at the beginning of service.

06.
What services are not provided by Aging Ally?
Aging Ally does not replace medical, legal, or home care services. Specifically, we do not
provide:
-
Medical diagnosis or bedside nursing

-
Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) or home care
-
Legal or financial advice
We can, however, help you find trusted providers in these areas so you can make informed decisions about your care.
