Why We Exist:

No one should have to choose between being a loving spouse, daughter, or son - and serving as the sole advocate through healthcare challenges. Aging Ally walks beside families, offering clarity and guidance so love and healing remain at the center.

Our Story

Aging Ally was founded out of both professional experience and deeply personal conviction. Our founder, Brenda Soto, MHL, BSN, RN, has devoted more than 30 years to healthcare - beginning as a Certified Nursing Assistant, advancing to a Registered Nurse in critical care & the emergency department, ultimately serving as a healthcare executive. Across every role, she has seen how overwhelming it can be for families to navigate the complexities of care. In 2024, those challenges became deeply personal. When her father was diagnosed with stage IV gastric cancer, Brenda and her family were suddenly on the other side of the system. Despite having excellent physicians, the burden of coordination, paperwork, insurance denials, and countless tests fell heavily on their shoulders. Brenda stepped in as the advocate - helping to understand labs and scans, preparing questions for doctors, managing forms, and finding resources - while her parents coped with fear and exhaustion. But even with her professional background, it was nearly too much. “I realized I wasn’t allowing myself to just be a daughter. I was always in ‘healthcare mode'.  One night in the ICU,  I felt the weight of it all - the fear, the gratitude, and the relief that my dad had survived surgery. In that moment, I knew no family should have to carry this alone." From that experience came Aging Ally - a calling to stand beside adults and seniors as a trusted advocate, so they can focus on what matters most: each other.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

- 1 Peter 4:10
