All About Karen
Karen brings a lifetime of dedication, organization, and heart to her role as Aging Ally's Administrative Assistant. Her background in banking, bookkeeping for her family's farming business, and years of experience supporting students as a teacher's para, Karen's career has always centered on helping others and approaches everything with meticulous care.
Her journey with Aging Ally is deeply personal. When her husband was diagnosed with cancer, Karen and her family faced the overwhelming uncertainty of navigating doctors, insurance, and treatments. Surrounded by the love and support of her family, she experienced firsthand the value of having someone to guide and advocate through life's hardest moments. That experience inspired her to help others find the same comfort and clarity she once needed.
At Aging Ally, Karen organizes appointments, manages scheduling and records, and ensures every client feels seen, supported, and cared for. Her Catholic faith grounds her work - she believes God designed us to need one another and to share our unique gifts, insights, and encouragement.
Outside of the office, Karen treasures time with her two daughters, their husbands, and her three grandchildren. She and her husband, Rick, enjoy traveling, golfing, playing cards, and spending time with friends wherever life takes them.
