All About Michelle
Michelle brings a lifetime of leadership, service, and compassion to Aging Ally. After retiring from a distinguished 38-year career in the relocation industry, Michelle now channels her experience and heart for helping others into her role as our Outreach Volunteer.
Throughout her career, Michelle served in executive leadership positions, helped launch a successful relocation business, and led global client services and operations. She remained actively involved in the profession through leadership roles, including President of the North Texas Relocation Council and service on the WERC Board of Directors and U.S. Advisory Council. Her contributions were recognized with both the Distinguished Service Award and the Meritorious Award.
Michelle's passion for Aging Ally is deeply personal. After helping care for two beloved family members through separate cancer journeys, she experienced firsthand the emotional and logistical challenges families face during serious illness. She understands how overwhelming healthcare navigation can be and believes the guidance Aging Ally provides allows families to spend less time managing the details and more time making meaningful memories with their loved ones. She hopes her experiences can bring encouragement and support to others walking similar paths.
As our Outreach Volunteer, Michelle helps expand awareness of Aging Ally's mission and connects individuals, families, and professionals with the resources and advocacy they may need. Her faith serves as the foundation for her work, drawing inspiration from Scripture's call to carry one another's burdens, use our gifts generously, and seek the well-being of others.
Outside of Aging Ally, Michelle enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, cycling, and golfing. She has a long history of community service, volunteering with organizations including the American Cancer Society, a church food pantry, NICU Rockers, and the YMCA Big Sister Program. One of her favorite accomplishments was celebrating a milestone birthday and cycling 150 miles over two days with her husband and friends to raise funds for multiple sclerosis research - a memorable experience that perfectly reflects her love of adventure, community, and serving others.
