Founder & President 

All About Brenda

With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, Brenda has walked many paths the field offers - from working as a CNA and receptionist to serving in billing, nursing, and leadership roles. Each chapter has deepened her understanding of both the healthcare system and the people within it. Brenda has a gift for navigating complex challenges with empathy and clarity, always centering her work on the human experience. Whether supporting a patient at the bedside or guiding a family through difficult decisions, she strives to combine knowledge with compassion so that every person feels truly cared for and understood.
 

Brenda’s passion for helping older adults and families facing chronic illness is deeply personal. She formed a special bond with her grandmother and was profoundly moved by her strength and grace through loss. Later, Brenda journeyed alongside her father during his battle with stage IV gastric cancer - an experience that opened her eyes to how overwhelming healthcare decisions can be. These moments inspired her to help build Aging Ally, a place where families can find trusted guidance, honest answers, and compassionate advocacy.
 

As Founder and President, Brenda leads with heart and purpose. She works directly with families to navigate care decisions, connect resources, and provide support that allows them to focus on what matters most - being present with their loved ones. Her leadership ensures that Aging Ally remains a trusted source of both expertise and empathy.
 

Brenda’s faith is the foundation of her work. She is guided by Micah 6:8 - “To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” This verse shapes her approach to every interaction, reminding her to lead with integrity, compassion, and humility. She also finds strength in Psalm 23 - “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” - a daily reminder of God’s presence and the peace that comes from walking in His care.
 

Outside of work, Brenda treasures time with her husband, Ray, and their close-knit family. She loves traveling, quiet mornings with coffee, and snuggles with her dogs. The ocean is her happy place - a source of rest, renewal, and reflection.
